TERRA TEMPORIS

Privacy, in plain language.

Anonymous traffic counts

Terra Temporis uses its own tracker to count page loads and navigation between the atlas, figures, empires, comparison, saved collections, insights and research desk. Counts may include the referring domain, broad screen size and country if supplied by hosting. The site owner can view these aggregate statistics.

The tracker does not set analytics cookies or use browser storage, persistent visitor IDs, session recordings or third-party analytics services. It does not collect search text, full URLs, individual record selections, research notes, email addresses or account IDs. Random submission IDs prevent duplicate counting; they do not link visits to a person.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable tracking. Dashboard-authenticated owner activity and recognized automated traffic are excluded. Analytics records are kept for up to 90 days and older records are removed on subsequent collection requests.

Dashboard access

The private traffic dashboard uses a separate password login and a secure, HTTP-only session cookie lasting up to 12 hours. This cookie is for access control, not visitor tracking.

Your research workspace

When you sign in with ChatGPT, saves, edits and imports are stored separately under your authenticated identity. These personal records are not part of the analytics data or another visitor’s workspace.

Hosting

The hosting platform processes network requests to deliver and protect the site. A short-lived, in-memory hash of a network address helps limit abusive analytics submissions; it is not written to the analytics database. Infrastructure logging is separate from this tracker.
